On 8/2/2009 vicious dogs on the loose were reported in the 7600 block of North Avenue in Lemon Grove.  Upon arrival at the scene, deputies were charged by two white pitbull/boxer mix dogs. Deputies closed off traffic in the area and contained the animals by blocking the dogs movements with their vehicles. The dogs lay down on the porch of a residence on North Avenue. 

Deputies contacted Animal Control and also requested they contact the resident. Animal control responded to the scene and the residents remained in their house. When Animal Control arrived, they took the dogs into custody without incident.
